I would love to do a travel buddy for my classroom next year. I think it is a great way for kids to get hands-on and have an interactive learning opportunity to learn about different states in USA.
Thanks for doing this, it is hard to get funding in a small small school!
Also in response to your question, being from a small school, bringing the world to our students via the internet and books is sometimes the only time our students will ever get to “visit” these places!

This would be great. I have been saying for a year now that I need a document camera in my classroom, and has not been a priority for our district. This would help me reach that goal. Thanks for the chance!

Donors Choose is amazing! A coworker of mine got several projects funded this year, and earned 4 tablets and 3 netbooks for the ELL students in her class to translate, type assignments and do research. Totally worth it.
