Boston area aspiring Teacher Travelers (and those who love them)… are you as excited as I am for Teaching Traveling Inspiration Night tomorrow evening, Thursday March 31?!

If you and your friends haven’t already gotten your tickets, zoom down to this link and get them now!

After months of planning, here are some of the teaser details about the event.

Thursday night, our Panel of Teacher-Traveler Experts will share their budget travel secrets and take questions. This panel includes 10 superstars who have traveled all over the world, with and without students, for educational purposes and “non-educational” purposes, with programs and solo, for long and short term travel, and much more. These are the people who have figured out how to find the time, money, family balance, and opportunities to make their travel dreams a reality, and they are psyched to share their insights with the 150 attendees tomorrow!

Partner organizations who will be on hand at Teaching Traveling Inspiration Night to offer opportunities and discounts include: EF Tours, STA Travel, BPS International Travel Office, Limitless Horizons Ixil, WorldTeach, GEEO (partnered with GAP Adventures), Meet Plan Go, Fund for Teachers, GO!Overseas, Reach to Teach, Global Potential, American Councils for International Education, and more.

One of life’s great joys is helping people realize their dreams… and in the process of doing this tomorrow evening at Teaching Traveling Inspiration Night, we will transform our world educational system! If you’re not on board already, hop in! There’s plenty of room for more happy, fulfilled and connected people in this world.

Comment, then read these!

  1. I just learned (too late!) about the Boston event. I run a small Boston-based nonprofit called OneWorld Classrooms. We run a project called the Amazon Rain Forest School Project and once a year lead groups of teachers to the Amazon to visit schools there and run the project. Any way I could share information with the Boston group? Or w/ US teachers. For starters, here is a link to videos of our March trip: http://www.youtube.com/user/phurteau7?feature=mhum.

    Thank you!

    • Paul, never fear! There are still ways to get the word out! Sounds like your organization is great. Do the following:

      1. Click “Like” on http://www.facebook.com/TeachingTraveling to join our community and feel free to post your link on that Wall.

      2. Email me directly at TeachingTraveling at gmail.com if you want to spread the word about your program by having you or another person related to OneWorld profiled on this site!

      Best,
      Lillie
