Hi . I am Mamura Tashbayeva from Uzbekistan. Currently I am teaching English children at the kindergarden in my district. I would like a short trip course for teachers to English speaking countries to improve my speaking skills. It will be a good opportunity to enrich my profession. Thanks

Unfortunately, this is not a job placement service, just a spot to share experiences with teaching and travel and global education, but I wish you best of luck, Gloria!

Hi Felice, Teaching Zumba around the world sounds wonderful! There are a few articles here about teaching yoga or other fitness styles abroad. Use the search box to find them. Good luck!
Suzie Shiaman
Saturday 12th of January 2019
My name is Suzie Shiaman and I am a general education third public school teacher. I have signed up to volunteer in Rome with an organization where I will be helping kids with special needs. The skills I will be learning will be valuable for my returning class. In addition, living for 4 weeks in Rome will enhance my social studies lessons with my students too. As you know, travel is expensive. I have a gofundme site, but I have not received one donation. Do you have any advice for where I can apply for grants for my upcoming assignment? Thank you very much!

Hi Suzie, Thanks for your comment and it's very exciting about your upcoming trip! One suggestion is to contact local businesses. When I took students to China, some thriving companies in our city helped fund some of the costs as part of their local outreach. Good luck!
